I have my tank set up and I will be moving to school in about a week and a half. Here I will resetup the tank and then want to add fish once I am convinced it has cycled. Does anyone know a place that sells good Africans in the Peoria, Illinois area?
Thanks!

Are you doing a fishless cycle or cycling with dainos or something.

I have no idea where Peoria is nor do I feel like logging onto Mapquest right now, but if you can make it to Chicago, there's a pet store you could try.
King Coral Aquatics. Google them for their website, and then email them and ask for similis. They had a TON of shellies last time I went, about a year ago, and I hope to go this coming up week again.

You're looking at a two hour forty five minute drive to what may be the best Tanganikia selection in your state. Stop by at the Shedd Aquarium or a Museum and you have yourself a nice little day trip.
