I like your tank. One suggestion, try to eliminate snails as much as you can, Brevis will keep it out of hte shell, but it would be better if you an remove them, in order to let them have nice spawns...

Thanks, yer they have already spawned a few times but your right, I am looking for some assasin snails to help control them (can't get them online though, there is a minimum spending limit so I'd have to buy 10!)

Here's my tank. Its a 20 gallon long. I don't have any fish yet, but I am about to get some Multies.
Any suggestions on changes or stuff for the tank? I have been looking for some lace rock for it, but haven't found any that's cheap.

Fish Addict: If you have the means, I'd add a bigger filter on the tank...or if you want, add an extension to the intake tube, but you'll probably want more water movement otherwise you'll get "poop piles" in the corners.  It's always my rule to 'Over Filter' than under.  Those cheap little underwater filters (with powerheads) are great at moving stagnant water.

As for the lace rock, make sure that when you put it in the tank, that you push it down to the bottom, otherwise when your fish are busy excavating, they could topple the rock and...well...become pancake fish.  Wink

at the risk of sounding like a jerk...I have 2 suggestions:

wipe off the drips and fix that bent blind above the tank (distraction)

Nice shells!  Please post more pics when you have some fish in there.  And you might want to add some java fern to help keep algae in check.

Yeah, first to Cate, yeah, I may, since the filter is going prettty slow. And I will if I ever find some cheap rock.
Yeah, I did wipe it off, I had just filled the tank when I took that picture, so it was a little wet.
I am not sure if I want to put java fern in, since I already have a fully planted tank, so I'm trying to sort of stray away from that a bit with no plants. I may try to get some MTS though.
And I definitely will post some pictures.

OK, I like it, as mentioned before, filter issue must be solved and I hope that you have allready solved it until now...
One more suggestion on the back of the tank put some black or blue poster so that the viewer will not be distracted by the wall...I am not saying that you have an ugly wall but it would look much better if it is out of the picture...

concerning rock problem, go to the country and find several rocks , same color and add them in the tank...it is cheap and good....
