Finished my Brevis tank about a month ago but could not find anyone with a pair of Brevis. Its all setup ill get pics soon but what shells would a larger 3" fish need to live in? I was thinking large whales eyes and some other larger shells i had collected on the beach and at Petco. Would this work? Temps at 78F and ph is in the high 7's low 8's.
Even my biggest sunspot Brevis fits in smaller whale eye shells (that's actually a pic of him in a smaller shell to your left under my name
)...www.cichlidbreeding.com is probably the best place, simply because they are large, high quality shells and are almost always in stock (at $0.30/shell). I keep my Breves at 78F and my pH is 8.2 (5.5 gall)
