How often and just plain how do you take out multi fry?

My little guys have been quite busy and I have probably 6 generations of fry in the tank. I will sell or give away the fry but I need a strategy .

1. How do you choose which fry to take out?
2. How do you catch the fry you want?
3. How often do I need to repeat this procedure?

TIA,
Tony

My little guys have been quite busy and I have probably 6 generations of fry in the tank. I will sell or give away the fry but I need a strategy .

1. How do you choose which fry to take out?
I pull the spawning site shell when I see I have fry.
2. How do you catch the fry you want?
If it's early enough, the fry will still be holding tight to their shell, if not, I'll use a fine net to remove them.
3. How often do I need to repeat this procedure?
In both my Brevis and Stapperisi tanks I have to pull fry every other week as I have multiple females keeping busy. In your case, it depends on if you want to keep the fry, sell them, or trade them for other fish/food/ or other fish related items. Obviously the larger fry will be the ones I'll sell first... raise the rest to a saleable size. I keep an extra 5 or 10 smaller tanks just to raise the little gems.

This is just what I do, many others will have other suggestions and thoughts.
