Thank you! I cant wait till theyre full grown. Im trying to get a pic of my male doing his headstand with fins out, oh the colors! Unfortunately hes the shy one, and while the girls stay put (kinda) for the camera he bolts for his shell often. Roll Eyes

Very nice shellies! It's getting tougher and tougher to find nice shellies now.
Though I thouht katabe were also known as sunspots and yours look more like kigomas. I don't think sunspots the orange spot at the side of their head

Are katabes sunspots? Ive seen sunspots and i dont think these are them. I got them from pet kingdom in san diego and they were specifically "katabe" but there is always the chance they were mislabled. They do all have orange dots on the sides of their heads, is this unique to certain collection points?

my sunspots only have the slightest indication of stripes, and that gets a bit more pronounced when they spawn

Thank you! The multies themselves do most of the decorating, I dont try to stop them anymore. I like it with sand covering everything rather than a sterile look anyhow. (I know theres at least a dozen more shells buried in there somewhere...) Roll Eyes
