Light for a 40 gallon breeder

Hi all, I've just upgraded to a 40 gallon breeder tank. Can someone suggest a light?  I am hoping to grow some plants.. but not a whole lot.. maybe just some anubias , vals, and java ferns..

Any suggestions?

you want good light hmmmmmm.

 open your curtains

jk ehm your gonna have to be a bit more spacific m8, have are you talking about striplights or a random bulb, do you have a prebuilt set etc,what Length is your tank etc.

My bad. The tank is 36"x18"x16"H. I'm looking for a light fixture not just the bulb (of course I need the bulb w/ the fixture ). Currently have access to a 36" coralife T5. Will that be too much light?

i wouldnt think so i had a quick "Google" and it says only to use them with fish, and that they supply more light that the usual..

i think yes sounds good 

it would give your fish lots of light aswell as giving your plants more than enought light to have them grow.

sure!   Though the plants you have chosen are low/moderate light plants so you can go whatever you want IMO

I've got several of the Coralife F/W T-5 fixtures and am very pleased with the look and performance for the price.  They will do a very good job of providing light to your selected low-light plants.
