I just had my new pair hatch their first batch (for me anyway) about two weeks ago.  They're all still together in a 20L and seem to be doing just fine.  The parents don't seem to take any extraordinary care of the fry, they're all over the tank, not even sticking close to any one shell.  I haven't seen any  sign of the parents spitting food for them, they must just fend for themselves.  So far so good anyway, we'll see how it goes from here.

they will be fine i think, one of my females even guards her babies quite well. the male doesnt eat them either. the good thing about the fry tank is you can feed heavily and do frequent water changes much easier and without disturbing the parents.

Of course ur male wouldnt eat the fry nicko,
Your male will only get of his tail to get food and spawn, LOL
I might leave them and see how i go, If they get pinched ill have to try them in a fry saver,

i have taught him well  Wink Grin

ps i have been leaving some fry in the tank lately... feeding crushed sera flora twice a day... the fry can nibble on it from the time they are free swimming and the parents like it too. fry probably arent growing as fast as the ones in fry tank getting frozen BBS 4-6 times a day, but they are still doing fine.

Why don't you add BBS to the main tank so the adults & fry can enjoy.
I have found that fry grown with parents always grow quicker.
