My new fish

Well I only have cell phone pics at the moment. I am hoping to get a better camera in the near future. I have finally switched my tanks back to tanganyikan's after a few years of keeping malawi's. I currently only have one species of shelldweller. A trio of WC Brevis "Chimba". I also have a pair of WC Black Calvus "Zambian". The Brevis are by themselves in a 20g. The Calvus are in a 55g with 2 cyps. Then I also have more of a tang "community" tank with 2 Juli Transcriptus "Zaire". 2 Leleupi. 1 small Frontosa. A couple clown loaches, and a couple pl*cs. My photo album on this site I have apparently used all my available disk space so I have just posted a couple links here.

I love your black calvus. I bet he really stands out with the light substrate. How does he interact with your brevis?

Yeah, I'm curious as well. I'm considering moving some of my Multis into the 125gal at some point, but I'm not sure how the calvus will treat them.

Well, I just got the Brevis and Calvus on Friday. The Calvus are still being shy, but besides that, they are in separate tanks. The Brevis are by themselves in a 20g. The Calvus are in a 55g with 2 cyps. And thanks for the comments, yeah, the male Calvus is a beautiful fish, I am praying that they pair up and breed like rabbits. The male has shown a small amount of agression towards the female but for the most part they hang out together so I am hoping. And as for the Brevis, both the females are already showing off for the male big time, so I am hoping that it is only a matter of time for them. My Juli's might be pairing up as well.

Thanks for the clarification, BuZz. It sounds as if you might have some "action" happening soon, that's awesome! Make sure you keep us posted.
