Keep in mind that mysis are pretty big and can be hard for fish to eat...

I haven't had a problem with any other fish eating the mysis.  I have pretty much everything esting it.  I have even had 3 week old boulengeri fry eating it.  Really cute to watch.  Takes them awhile but they get it down.

They must either be huge or the shrimp must be busted up.

Which tanganyikans would be most likely to thrive as tankmates for my Caudopunks in my 34 gal (32"x16"x16") tank? Seems like the caudopunks would potentially compete for both shells and rocks.

i have a question for my punks
they have settled in a bit but, one of the punk, in the pair keeps lowering itself when it sees the pair(so i think)
they both go in the shell but not together, the female(i think) keep lowering to the pair to the crushed coral and wiggles a bit
has anyone experienced this strange behavior?

They can do well in a community setting though you have to be careful for they will use both caves and shells to defend and spawn in.  I regret to say that if that is your stocking list for the 75 I wouldn't recommend adding the punks.  That would be a little to many fish for the space.

all of them are rockdwellers so its not recomended.
i would take out some of them and put the caudo's in if you want. but they are sure worth the try IMO.
awsome little buggers Smiley first shellies(not really.. they dont breed in shells in the wild) to spawn for me Cheesy

am having big problem trying to setup my 75 gal community tank just because i have so many fish Undecided am going to get rid of some of them like my Callochromis Pleurospilus they will be substituted for C. Leptosoma Zambia tricolor or C. Leptosoma Bulu point which ones do you guys prefer? Am going to try to keep the 4 punks, 4 black calvus, pair of  Marlier, pair of Brichardi ( not that aggressive with my other fish), 1 Leleupi , 1 Synodontis Multipunctatus, and about 12 to 15 C. Leptosoma. i hope it works i just switch over to sand am really trying to make this tank look nice Grin

it might be possible. it depends if you can get a good rockrock set up so the caudo's dont see the multies too often.
the multies ever expanding colony will eventually take over the tank unless you take out the fry. the caudopunctatus are very aggressive IMO but they dont have a big territoy. they defend a small area very well.

I wouldn't recommend it.  I think in the long run it would end in trouble.  I would work for a while is the tank is setup properly.  If you try it I would make sure to have a backup plan.
