Downsizing, What is that? Oh, just another way of saying I'm going to get rid of a species or two to make room for more species.

MY pair spawned recently , however I have only been able to see 4 maybe 5 fry swimming around . I have flourite i as a substrate in that tank and it sure does make for great fry hidey spots, at least form my eyes. I was wondering what a normal spawn would be ? Is it likely that more of them are still hiding out in the shell with Mom? thanks Tim

i got big time aggression today but noone is hugging yet everyone still holding their ground.
the "monster" a big almost 3" fish rules the roost and will even hide under a rock ledge and over see his kingdom from above. then he will do dive bomb attacks on the others.
dont know how long they are gonna play nice together i hope long enough to get a pair but man they are having a chasing good time today.
gonna try to find some pics to see if i can sex them and separate them out. i dont want any deaths

well ive witnessed interesting behavior from these guys today and havent read about it anywhere so im gonna share it LOL.
i seem to have some that think they are multies without the need for shells.
what i believe are females are ruling the roost and they are digging pits.
i havent read about this behavior anywhere and figured ide share it with yall

I find that with my Dhonti's. They seem to dig near the shells and rocks lol. The female does it more often then the male.
