Tanganyikan Gobies spawning

Here is a short video of our Eretmodus Cyanostictus spawning.  A total of 15 eggs were laid and she picked up 13. At 1:00 minute into the video you will see the female drop a tiny yellow egg, then spin around and take it in her mouth. This was their first time, so we were not sure how many would hatch.  After 10-12 days the female will pass the larvae to the male, he will then carry them for 7-10 days before releasing them.

On Day 11 the female passed the larvae to the male while we were away at work... We had no idea if one or 13 had been passed.  Then today, day 17, we decided to move the male to the nursery tank for fear the little ones would be eaten by the Syn. Petricolas.  When we moved him, he promptly spit out all 13 fry is varying stages of development ;D  from here we will see how many will survive.  here is a crummy cell phone picture.

The fry are doing well,  we moved them out of the nursery and into the 20 long.

So the first batch of fry are doing well and growing like weeds... well, like slow growing weeds  ;)
On May 31 we noticed that mom was holding another batch. Today, day 21, dad released another 20 fry  ;D

Great news. Must be all that heat you are getting. (At least, I think you are: Phoenix 119F)

I'm excited for you. How did you set up your 20 long grow out? What are you feeding the fry?

the tank is bare bottom with a narrow leaf java fern attached to a  piece of lava rock. I am feeding them Dainichi Veggie FX and Veggie Deluxe.
