Hey guys, my Multis had 2 fry about 2 weeks ago and they have been doing pretty well. I'm just curious as to why they haven't spawned again? They have been digging a lot for 1.5 weeks but I still see nothing. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Do you know that in the wild Multies live on old shell beds that can be metres thick
If they are digging they are looking for more shells....the more shells the better
3 or 4 deep for the complete base of the tank....they don't need or like sand
You may find you have many more than 2 fry....they just haven't ventured out of the shell yet
Multies are step breeders.....fry will grow and will their fry and so on
You may end up with a dozen pair and fry of all sizes, but it takes a fair time to build a reasonable colony
Many make the mistake of thinning their numbers and losing the potential magnificence of a full colony
