Hi!  I have been keeping fish for 35+ years.  Decided to downsize number of tanks and time spent in maintenance.  I'm going from planted 90, 24 and 12s down to one non-planted 55 gallon.  I will be rehoming all of my fish with the exception of my multies and would like to build a tang community with them as my starters.  I joined this forum to see what experiences others have had in stocking this size tank with multies and others.  Thanks so much!

Welcome to the site. I saw your other posts and the Cichlid Forum inhabitant recipe. What are your options for getting fish by you? Any local clubs?

There may be local clubs but I'm not aware of them.  There is a very good store not too far from me called Preuss Pets.  They carry an extensive selection of both fresh and saltwater fish.  It is a dangerous store to go in if you're not prepared to spend some money!
